Saturday night my mom and I headed out to the Billy Graham Library for a Christmas dinner. It was my first time visiting, I was absolutely amazed by the history and beauty of the grounds. Every tree lining the roads and around the building was wrapping in twinkling white lights, wreaths were placed on every door, and one of the most incredible decorated trees {see below}. Oh there was also a live nativity scene {how cool?}. We enjoyed a delicious feast of traditional Christmas dishes and ended with gingerbread cheesecake + white chocolate cranberry cheesecake.

This look I wore is something I’d actually {and just might} wear for day of Christmas dinner with family and friends. Built around two simple and classic pieces {chambray shirt + dark denim} then spiced up with some patterned accessories. As you know if you’ve followed Louella Reese for any amount of time, I’m all about pattern mixing. This time taking three completely different ones with one common color to pull it together – black.
p.s. these leopard flats are the ones I bought to replace my old Steve Madden ones {seen last here} and they are the BEST! Very simple but chic with the pointed toe. I honestly love them even more than my previous pair and feel like they’re even easier to pair with everything – definitely recommend.
