Gingham has always been a favorite pattern of mine {see last worn here}. I love the preppy vibe and the fact that pattern can easily been dressed up or down. The moment I saw these gingham shorts from Old Navy, I knew I had to have them! There was no question, I was stopping after work that day to pick them up. And I did 🙂 I always scooped up the matching crop top, which will be making an appearance soon!

So I’m sorry this white shirt is making an appearance yet again but it’s really been my go to piece recently. I just can’t get enough! I wanted to dress the shorts up a bit while also making them appropriate for the slightly cooler spring days we’ve been experiencing. So the white button down was of course my first choice and you can never go wrong with denim. I don’t know about you but come spring my denim jacket gets a LOT of use! It’s the perfect weight and in my opinion can really pull a look together.

This weekend, Joshua and I were able to spend whole weekend together…in Charlotte. Which was so nice! We’ve both been traveling like crazy on the weekends so having one where we’re both home and don’t have a ton to do was pretty great. We took another round of engagement photos on Saturday {which I cannot wait for y’all to see}. Then spent the rest of the afternoon lounging at the lake. It was glorious 🙂 How was your Easter weekend?
