Happy FriYAY y’all! We have survived another week {week almost, 8 more hours left}. Does anyone else feel like this is a huge accomplishment almost every week? I sure do. Any big plans this weekend? I shared mine yesterday, find them here.

I feel like it’s legit been forever since I shared an instagram roundup so I figured it was time I jumped on that and shared a little about my life lately. The past couple of weeks {aka month} have been a whirlwind of weekends away and weeks full of meetings and exciting events. While I’ve loved it, I’m super looking forward to May when things will be slowly down a bit and weekends can be spent on the lake!! Who’s with me?

First up, one of my favorite looks from my weekend in Charleston with my mom. We ventured to our favorite girls getaway town to purchase my dream wedding dress {eeeek, more on that later}. This royal blue dress below is one I wore out for drinks and dinner after all of the excitement.

Here is the bridal boutique where I purchased my dress. Y’all the moment when you try on “The One” is incredible!! If you haven’t experienced it, I absolutely cannot for you to! It’s a moment I’ll cherish for the rest of my life. I legit did not want to take the dress off and I cannot wait till the one that’s made for me is back on in June!

On Sunday we spent the day exploring around the Battery and Rainbow Row. We also love to wander down little side streets we’ve never been done before! Charleston’s charm seriously blows us away every time we’re there, it’s just the cutest.

Like really, how perfect is every little corner? Also the weather could not have been more wonderful.

As women I think we all feel this HUGE weight off our shoulders when we find the hairstylist that FINALLY understands what your after and gives you your dream hair. Well I finally found mine and she has finally given me the strawberry blonde hair I’ve dreamt of for just about EVER! If you’re in Charlotte go see Heather at Heirloom Salon and tell her Laura Leigh from Louella Reese sent you.

This combo is one of my favorites. Comfy with a side of sass thanks to the heels and leopard crossbody. Also I’m sure y’all are super tired of seeing these sunnies and I’m sorry but I cannot find another pair I like as much – I’m on the hunt though! Recommendations welcome.

From engagement photos to wedding planning. We are deep in wedding planning mode. We have some major things checked off our list though including venue, caterer, photographer, cake, and wedding dress of course!

Charlotte is in full bloom! While I love soaking in all of the beauty my allergies might just kill me! But for real, how gorgeous are these trees?!

While these donuts are from awhile ago. Joshua and I went by there last weekend while meeting with a florist for our wedding. Boy are these donuts amazing! If you’re in Charlotte or passing through, you NEED to stop by Duck Donuts!
