This is the first of many looks to come from last weekend’s getaway with Corbin (Classy South Blog) and Emily (The Style Hunt Blog), my blogger biffs! If you missed out via snapchat (lauraleighlou) and instagram (@louellareese) we went on a glamping adventure in Asheville, NC. It was the BEST time…more on that to come next week!

This look though was worn for brunch at Tupelo Honey (more on that to come next week too!) and exploring downtown Asheville a bit. The backpack was perfect for an afternoon exploring and carrying all of the necessities plus some. I’m kind of obsessed with it now! I remember a time when backpacks never seemed to get the credit they truly deserved which I have always found to be a massive shame. Not only are they convenient, comfy and equipped with anti-theft features like hidden zipper enclosures but they look awesome too! It should come as little surprise to us all that people are starting to ditch briefcases in favour of a backpack.

I think I mentioned this a while ago but I never thought I’d jump on the backpack trend but seriously they’re the bomb! There’s a reason we carried them for 12+ years in school and college. Backpacks are easy, comfortable, and now thanks to Vera Bradley, extremely chic! I 100% sure this backpack is going to be a staple item of mine this spring/summer. Even thinking about taking it to the office (I have a pretty laid back office, just FYI haha).
