So one thing {of many} I received from my mom, is the obsession of having white teeth. Not just white but really, really, really white. It’s also one of the first thing that we notice about people. Do they have white teeth? I think having really white teeth also helps people notice how pretty your smile is. Your whole face seems brighter. That may sound super cheesy but I really do think it’s true!!I’m happy this is something my mom handed down to me as I now really value having pearly white teeth and taking care of them. Which I know in the long run will really pay off {not that it doesn’t now}.

While I was excited about the possibility of getting white teeth ASAP I was also thinking about our wedding and how if it worked, they’d be in tip top shape. The box came for me to do my moldings so the trays would be customized to my mouth. How cool is that? I did them immediately and sent them back as I legit was a like a kid waiting for the tooth fairy to leave a couple dollars under my pillow.

Once my trays arrived I started instantly. I did have a little sensitivity the first time I used the trays but after that initial time and using the desensitizing gel afterwards, I was good to go. The desensitizing gel allows your teeth to re-hydrate after the whitening. I personally believed I saw results after the first wear but my mom says it was more around the second to third wear that she really saw a difference.

Using the product is extremely easy. After your molds arrive all your need to do is place a small amount of the whitening gel into each of the molds {make sure you get it evening around}. Once you’ve done that, you simply press the molds into your teeth and go about your business. Prior to placing the molds in your mouth you need to brush and floss as well and then I wiped my teeth with a kleenex to try and make them as dry as possible for the gel to stick. I would leave mine on anywhere from 25 minutes to a little over an hour. I started off small and grew the time a bit each wear. 

After you complete a whitening you simply rinse off the molds and allow them to dry. Then repeat again the next day or later that week. I personally liked to do it about 2-3 times a week. I would test out your teeth sensitivity and again use the desensitizing gel if you are experiencing any sensitivity issues after a wear.
