Happy Friday everyone! Weekend life is only a couple hours away and I don’t know about you but I’m dreaming about it pretty hard. Okay, I’ll be honest, I’ve been dreaming about it all week long. I’m pretty sure today will be a bit of a struggle to get through given I’m literally living for the weekend but I think I’ll make it! Anyone else feeling the same this Friday morning?
One weekend activity I’m constantly dreaming of…spending time on the lake with my stud! Lake days are me and Joshua’s favorite. We cannot wait to kick back, relax, and spend time together on the water {with friends and family too}. Last week I shared a little peek into our 4th of July weekend and today I’m sharing another fun afternoon at the lake thanks to Glory Days Apparel.
Typically at the lake I spend a lot of time lounging on the dock. I love to use that time to dive into some reading + soak up some rays! I definitely had a laid back vibe while at the lake. Joshua on the other hand likes to stay busy! He’s up on the paddle board, riding the jet ski, driving the boat around, or jumping off the dock.
I do love riding on the jet ski with him or going on a paddle board adventure together. Sometimes we race or Joshua shakes his board and tries to get me off balance. Fun fact…I haven’t fallen off the paddle since our first big journey. During that tumble though I lost one of my favorite pair of sunnies. Therefore I NEVER wear my sunglasses when paddle boarding now. Lesson learned.
As I mentioned in this post, Joshua and I are both big fans of Glory Days Apparel. We love the softness of the tees/tanks, the fun designs, and how they refer to our favorite city. Glory Days Apparel tees/tanks are seriously made for summer days since they are so incredibly soft and lightweight. One lives in my lake/pool bag at all times now. Anyone else have a go to piece of summer clothing? Or an item that lives in your lake/pool/beach bag that you can’t possibly go without?
Tonight I’m headed out with one of my blogger biffs for a night out on the town. The remainder of the weekend will be spent lounging around the house. Where I’ll be blogging, watching movies, and prepping for The Blog Societies Conference next week. Here about last year’s conference here.
