If you follow Corbin, Emily, or myself on any type of social media, you know we had a weekend away in Atlanta recently. We had the absolute BEST time! It was a weekend jammed packed of meals, meetings, and photo shoots. Aka a bloggers dream! We spent the weekend exploring Atlanta thanks to all of Emily‘s recommendations as well as some events Corbin and I organized. I wanted to share a couple behind the scenes photos before I start sharing everything individually!
We arrived Friday night to Emily‘s over the top adorable apartment, which I’ll be sharing within the next two weeks. Friday night was spent planning our next day and snacking on a massive bowl of popcorn.
Saturday morning we woke up, got ready, and headed out for a full day! First off was donuts at Bon Glaze {yummy} then a meeting at Swoozie’s where we ended up shopping a bit. Corbin picked up the cutest phone case while I picked up a little gift for my future Father-in-law’s upcoming birthday. I was also super tempted to pick up one of the candles below even though I had just bought a set of 3 from the Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale. They’re just the BEST candles ever, don’t think you can ever have enough!
After Swoozie’s we headed out to Pounce City Market where we shot tons of looks, shopped, and indulged! Pounce City Market has to be one of the coolest places I have ever been. I cannot wait to go back with Joshua and explore even more! They have lots of common shops {think Anthropologie, J.Crew, Madewell, etc…}, the coolest food court you’ve ever seen, and an skyline park on the rooftop. If you’re headed to the Atlanta area I 100% recommend going there!
Before leaving Pounce City Market for dinner we headed to King of Pops. We grabbed Popsicle Cocktails and they were AMAZING! We each tried they’re margarita that had a little spice in it. Typically I’m not into spicy drinks, I think they’re weird, but this one was INCREDIBLE! I wish this was at my house every Friday evening at 6pm.
Be sure to check back daily as I’ll be sharing a lot more from our trip plus all my looks!
What’s your favorite thing to do during girls weekend getaways?!
