I decided to kick off the week with a little party! Why not celebrate the start of a new {and hopefully an amazing one}? Also I’m beyond excited to share my bachelorette party with y’all!! I have been itching too since the moment I walked into our beach house and saw all my gals did to make it a special one!
A little less than two weeks ago six of my best gal pals and I headed to Duck, NC to celebrate my last days as a single gal. I didn’t want the traditional Vegas, Charleston, or Nashville experience. I wanted something laid back and relaxing. Plus I really wanted good quality time with my gals. With busy schedules, long distance friendships, and life in general it can be REALLY hard to all get together. Therefore a quiet little beach town after Labor Day weekend was just the right ticket!
I knew my gals had some surprises up their sleeves but they definitely far exceeded my expectations! There were decorations everywhere AND they were all blue and white, they know me so well haha. As seen above, they put together the cutest little “bar” for us to use over the long weekend. Which included all of my favorite liquors, mixers, and adorable straws. One of my super talented friends also made the incredible #adiosbainholaelliott sign. Which was our hashtag for the weekend.
Our days were spent in bikinis and cover ups! I wore my kaftan from Silk and More every day at the beach. It’s was the perfect color combo {blue and white with a little pink} and weight. I love how light it is and the fun flutter sleeves. Very comfortable, so great for throwing over a swimsuit. Silk and More has a variety of kaftan and robe styles + patterns. There are SO many pretty floral options. Their site is a girly girls dreams. Not to mention they’re perfect for bridesmaids and getaways.
The girls also put together incredible swag bags that included: advil, Gatorade, rose {in a can, how cute?}, vitamin c packs, custom koozies, hair ties, bandanas, custom cups, and custom bags. Mine had a couple extra surprises like a circular beach towel {which was perfect because I had forgotten a towel, whoops} and the cutest flower crown/veil to wear over the weekend. All the necessities plus some extremely fun extras.
How stinking gorgeous are these cookies? Almost too pretty to eat. Except I was taking a break from my sugar detox so I devoured quite a few! I worked with Simply Swan to great these beauties for my bridesmaids and friends. I wanted to bring them something a little special along with their gifts. Which I’ll share in a later post! The cookies were a huge hit, both by looks and by taste. If you’re searching for custom cookies or want cookies for a special event definitely check out Simply Swan!
The above photo was before one of our nights out! We hit up two different local restaurants and one bar on the water. Our favorite restaurant was Roadside Bar & Grill. Delicious! They also have the perfect outdoor patio where we enjoyed the incredible weather. While in Duck we also headed to the original Duck Donuts where I finally got my hands on something pumpkin spice. The donut did not disappoint, not one bit!
Is there really anything better than a day spent on the beach, soaking up some rays, having a cold beverage, and enjoying time with friends?….I don’t think so!
Overall it was the absolute best bachelorette party I could have ever imagined. I cannot wait for each of my gals to get engaged so I can spoil them the way they spoiled me! I also would relive this weekend at least once a month if I could!! The BEST!
Tips for Brides To Be for your Bachelorette Party:
- Let your gals do the planning. Much like I mentioned in my bridal shower post here, it’s important to let those who want to plan and put the event together to let them! It’ll free you from stress and leave you more time to plan for the wedding.
- If there’s anything in particular you want to do that weekend or have there, make sure to let them know! My gals know me so well I seriously didn’t have to tell them BUT they had all of my favorite drinks and made sure we stopped at Duck Donuts {which was important to me}.
- Relax. Relax. Relax. This is your time to be with those gals that mean most to you and enjoy a weekend away. Away from work, away from wedding planning, away from your fiance {teheh}, and away from all other stressors.
- Soak in this time! There might not be another time you can all get together, away from all the items mentioned above. So enjoy the time! Step away from your phone, your computer, and other responsibilities and truly enjoy!
- Take lots of photos! You will SO cherish the photos your take during this weekend. I have looked at all the photos we took over 50 times already. I am obsessed with them. They bring back so many fun memories and moments.
- Take boomerangs. This is something one of my gals said we should do and then we did them nonstop all weekend. I’m pretty sure I’m even more obsessed with these then I am the photos. They’re so fun to watch and bring the weekend back to life.
I hope these tips help you out and that you possibly received a little inspiration from my bachelorette party at the beach! If you have any questions or want any more details on anything from the weekend please reach out to me via comments below or email {[email protected]}

These are great tips and this looked like the BEST weekend. I am currently trying to figure out what to do/where to go for mine. It’ll be in March though so might be too cold for the beach! I’m so happy that you had such a great time!
