On the fourth day of Christmas my blogger babes gave to me….a variety of Alterna products + a hair how to! I’m so excited to share this new line {new to me} and how I do my go to waves/curls. If you haven’t noticed I typically wear my hair wavy/curly. It’s my constant go to and honestly the easiest thing ever! I know for a fact I can do it from start to finish in under 20 minutes. That’s a huge reason why I don’t venture far from this look. 

Since being introduced to Alterna by Morgan, I have become obsessed. I for one cannot get enough of the shampoo + conditioner from their Caviar line. The duo leaves my hair shiny, smooth, and moisturized. Truly everything you want for your hair, right? I honestly have noticed a huge change in my hair since using this duo. I would highly recommend giving it a go! 

Following shampoo and conditioner I use Alterna’s cc cream and smoothing hydra-gelee. Just like face cc cream that we’re all beyond thankful for, this cc cream for your hair does amazing things. Aka 10 amazing things in just a pump or two. Moisturize, strengthen, protect against heat, help with breakage, and a lot more! The smoothing hydra-gelee provides a lightweight surge of hydration as well as protecting against frizz. 

After that I take about an inch to an inch of a half of hair and wrap it around my curling wand. I continue that round my whole head. I typically start with the bottom half of my hair and move up from there. With my face framing pieces being last. 

Then the look is finished off with some finishing spray to hold everything in place. Also providing a little extra texture. Which I don’t know about you, but I love me some texture!!

And that’s it! That’s how I get these waves/curls that you see so often here on Louella Reese. Crazy simple and it all comes together thanks to come amazing products. 

Simple waves/curls are great for all holiday events! You better believe I’ll have my hair like this on Thursday for Joshua’s work Christmas party. P.S. I cannot wait to share my dress with you all! It’s too cute and very different from the dresses I’ve worn for the last three years.
