So from warm tropical weather to snow. That’s the way life has been lately. And I’m not too upset about it! We received a little snow here in Charlotte about three weeks ago. Sadly it did not amount to nearly as much as they had predicted but Reese and I enjoyed it anyways. I have my fingers crossed for another snow in February {please Mother Nature please}. While the weather is being bipolar, cold weather items are still necessary. And the best part about that is a lot of them are now going on sale. This popover is one of those items. I’ve had my eye on this one for some time and when I popped into the store and noticed the markdown, I scooped it up!Stay tuned for Thursday’s post where I’ll be sharing winter must have items that are currently on sale!

If you don’t have a popover in your closet I highly recommend purchasing one. They’re almost like an adult sweatshirt. A lot more sophisticated than your boyfriend or hubs college sweatshirt that you’ve worn for years. While I’m all about wearing sweatshirts at home, I also like to be cozy {and warm} outside of the house. A popover like this offers you just that! Especially in a flannel material like this one.

Popovers are great for layering! With this look I had an long sleeve sweater on underneath. Since it was so chilly a thicker under layer was necessary. On slightly warmer days a simple tee shirt or long sleeve tee would be the perfect pairing. Popovers also look adorable tied around your waist. A great addition to a causal tee and jeans look OR a causal tee shirt dress.
