Talking about dinner for one and giving you a Dinner Thyme review after trying out their cook at home meal delivery service!

Meatloaf & Mash Potato Meal: cake stand // plates // napkins // mug // glass // silverware
Monday, Monday, Monday! Often times for me, during Joshua’s busy season at work, Monday’s mean dinner for one. That’s due to the fact that Joshua works in the NASCAR industry and often travels from Friday-Monday for races. Cooking for two is a blast but cooking for one can be difficult, am I right? Getting the portions right, getting all the ingredients together, and/or getting the energy to even cook. Cooking for one just isn’t as exciting or easy.
Dinner Thyme is changing that. Dinner Thyme is a food service that delivers perfectly portioned meals to your doorstep. Cooking is no longer a bore and getting ingredients together is a snap. And by snap, I mean Dinner Thyme has them in baggies for you with labels. So it really couldn’t get any easier.
Aside for the ingredients, Dinner Thyme also includes step by step instructions. And all meals only take about 15 minutes. I tried out two different meals from the service: Meatloaf with Garlic Mash Potatoes & Balsamic Asparagus and Shrimp Scampi with Pan Garlic Bread. Both meals sound like a lot of work right? Well good news, they weren’t! I was done with both within 15 minutes. Which for this Brothers & Sister’s binge watcher, I was beyond thrilled to have my meal ready quick and be back to my show!
The meatloaf was such a fun dish to put together! I loved the way this meal was plated. I felt like a legit restaurant chef. Aka I’m really happy I get to share photos of this creation! Aside from being pretty plated, the meatloaf was incredibly tasty and SO filling. A total win.
The shrimp scampi had this amazing linguine + sauce combination I was dying over. Also, can we talk about this garlic bread? SO GOOD! I was thankful for the perfectly portioned amount here, otherwise I probably would have ate a whole loaf of bread.
If you’re husband {or boyfriend} is constantly out of town or your single Dinner Thyme is a great resource for you. Again, perfectly portioned, all ingredients included, and quick cooking times. Allowing you time to get work done or do some binge watching like me. Oh and they also include all nutritional information on the recipe cards. LOVE that!
Their menu is updated regularly, you can check it out here. This Guava BBQ Chicken Pizza On Naan Bread looks like everything! Pretty sure this is what I’ll be diving into next time Joshua is out of town.
Stay tuned on instagram over the next day or two as I’ll be hosting a giveaway to Dinner Thyme. WINNER will receive $100 credit to Dinner Thyme, you don’t want to miss this!
Thank you to Dinner Thyme for sponsoring this post! All views and opinions are of course my own.

Looks delicious! I’ve tried Blue Apron before, there are so many different meal prep delivery services out there now that there’s really no excuse no to cook!
Thanks gal! There really are so many of them. I couldn’t agree more. There’s no reason not to cook.

Cooking for one really can be difficult! Sometimes when I’m alone for dinner, I just scavenge for snacks instead of eating a real meal. This seems like a great solution for nights like that.
I use to do that all the time as well! This cook at home meal delivery service has really helped with that!
