Today I am partnering with At Home, the home décor superstore, to share ways to decorate your table with items that contain the color blue. The reason behind the color choice {other than it being my favorite} is At Home is partnering with Habitat for Humanity during the month of April, pledging $250,000 to its “Home is the Key” campaign. And blue is the official color of both At Home and Habitat for Humanity.
“Home is the Key” helps families across the United States achieve strength, stability and self-reliance through affordable housing. You can help raise money for this worthy cause both in-store or online. Additionally, you can raise awareness of this campaign by sharing your favorite blue decor picks on Instagram and including these hashtags: #AtHomeforHabitat and #AtHomeStores.
When At Home asked me to join in on raising awareness for this campaign, I immediately jumped on board. It’s a really great cause and a very fun way to get involved. Since we’re right in the middle of decorating our living/dining space I thought I incorporating ginger jars. They’re blue and white, making them perfect for the campaign and our home. Originally, I had thought of sharing different ways to style a coffee table but once I spotted the larger jar + vases included in this post, the project moved to our dining table. So today I’ll be sharing six different ways to rearrange your centerpiece using ginger jars + vases and candles.
I first started off with a blank slate…
I then added a large vase and started surrounding it with candles of various sizes. I also included this mini cake stand. I placed one of the larger candles on the mini cake stand to create a little more height.
For this next centerpiece, I removed several of the smaller candles. I then added a medium size jar. I love the simplicity of this combination but also the statement the jar and vase make when paired together.
For the third centerpiece, I removed the large vase, added a simple white tray {similar}, and added back all of the candles. The jar is truly my favorite out of the three blue and white items included in this post, so I like how this centerpiece makes the jar center of attention.
To switch up the last centerpiece just a bit, I removed the jar and added a small vase. Since the primary color of the vase is a very vibrant blue, it really pops against the white tray {similar} and candles! Below you’ll find the centerpiece with flowers and without. Either way, I think it loos great! But when do you ever go wrong when adding flowers!
More flowers! I returned back to the original set up of the large vase with candles of various sizes. This time around though, I added some pretty purple blooms. Giving this centerpiece just a touch of Spring!
For the final centerpiece, I included both of the vases and the jar. I also added several flowers. This centerpiece fills the table and creates a beautiful combination. I for one, think you can never have enough flowers! Or blue and white!!

I hope this post as inspired you to decorate with blue and white! And don’t forget to share your favorites via Instagram using the hashtags #AtHomeforHabitat and #AtHomeStores to help raise awareness of the “Home is Key” campaign with At Home and Habitat for Humanity.
