WHAT I BOUGHT

The Perfect Neutral/Pink Lipstick
Blue and White Striped Midi Dress
Denim Jumper Dress {midi version}
Floral Gal Meets Glam Collection Maxi Dress – I ended up returning this dress. It just seemed to overwhelm me and be too much fabric for someone as short as myself {for reference I am 5’4”}.
Pink Floral Gal Meets Glam Collection Fit & Flare Dress
Leather Luggage Tagfor my dad

FOR THE HOME

Again, lots of flowers. I mean, LOTS this month! Trader Joe’s was absolutely killing the game this month and I could not get enough of what they were supplying! Joshua also scooped up a desk since he now partially works from home. However, it was one we found on Facebook Marketplace so not linkable.

WHERE I WENT

Asheville, NC – Joshua and I took a day trip here one Saturday this month. We had a wedding shower/engagement party to attend for one of Joshua’s college buddies and decided to make a full day of it. We spent hours walking around downtown hopping in and out of shops and visiting local breweries. It was a great way to spend a Saturday! We of course popped into Wicked Weed, one of my favorite Asheville Breweries.

Athens, GA – This trip was for the blog and I am SO excited to share more about it soon. We stayed at The Graduate Athens, listened to live local country music, and ate our way through the town.

Lake Norman, NC – this is currently where I am. We are spending the weekend at the in laws lake house and I am SO excited to soak up some rays. With having shingles the last two weeks I have barely been outside and I am in serious need of some vitamin D. Although this girl will most likely be wearing a one piece the rest of summer. Due to needing to protect my shingles scars from the sun.

MOVIES WATCHED

Set It UpOBSESSED. This was one of those movies that had me smiling the whole time. I literally clapped at the end I was just so happy. It’s been awhile since I watched a good rom-com and y’all this one did not disappoint. Plus the two main characters have unbelievable chemistry you cannot help but smile when they share the screen. Seriously, highly recommend!

RECIPES TRIED

Blueberry Banana Bread
Peach Banana Bread – just made yesterday and may be sharing the recipe for that soon, if y’all are interested!

WHAT I WATCHED

So Joshua and I decided to call with quits with Bloodline. We are back to watching Nashville and thus far I’m loving the season. I do however want to punch Gunner and tell him to get over it and grow up! What about you? Are you liking the story lines?

I’ve finished all of The Crown and OMG I do not want to wait until 2019 for new episodes. Beyond obsessed with the show and the actress that plays Queen Elizabeth. She is amazing! However, since I wrapped that up, I have picked up The Girlfriend’s Guide to Divorce. Now completely hooked on that. With shingles keeping me on the couch for a couple of days I really soared through season one. So happy there are SO many seasons of this series! Love when that happens!

Perfect round up! I wanted that maxi dress, but I’m glad I didn’t purchase! Also NEED to watch Set It Up, been hearing so many people loved it. I also know you can ROCK a one piece (for an unfortunate reason, but whatever).

Thanks for sharing my post, lady! Happy Friday!
