WHERE I WENT 

Raleigh – Joshua and I partnered with Local Toyota Dealers to test drive the 2019 Toyota Corolla and explore our state’s capitol. We had the absolute BEST weekend exploring a town we’ve driven through 100 times (and both lived right outside of) but never truly spent the time checking out. I shared lots earlier this week about our trip including a 48 hour itinerary for Raleigh NC and five ways to reconnect while traveling. 

Chattanooga – This past weekend + early part of this week, Joshua and I were in Chattanooga, TN celebrating our two year anniversary. Chattanooga had been on our list of must visit cities for quite some time so we decided to do so for our anniversary. Chattanooga ended up being the most perfect spot to celebrate and honestly, the perfect city for us. We were in love within minutes and did not want to stop exploring on our last day. We will definitely be going back! We’ll also be sharing more from our trip soon – stay tuned! 

MOVIES WATCHED

The Rider – skip it y’all, just skip it! We both had high hopes for this movie and after the opening, nothing really happens. Literally the whole entire movie. I really do not understand how this did so well on rotten tomatoes with critics and viewers. Not sure what they saw that I missed because NOTHING happened!

Chappaquiddick – loved this movie! I found it to be incredibly interesting. While the whole movie was based on a very sad event that occurred in the Kennedy family, it was interesting to see how such a high class, prominent family handled the matter. I would definitely recommend this one. 

RECIPES TRIED 

The Cheesecake Factory at Home – more on this to come but we tried out a couple of their at home cheesecakes mixes and yum y’all!

All of the same shows from last night – This Is Us, Grey’s Anatomy, and The Foster’s (currently on season two). Still waiting for Noah Centineo to make an appearance – which is why I started watching the show haha. What are y’all watching this fall?
