Last Thursday Josh and I went on a casual date to Zada Jane’s in the Plaza Midwood area of Charlotte. We were going to follow it up with a night out at the U.S. National Whitewater Center for River Jam, a concert series but Mother Nature didn’t quite play along. So thinking I’d be sitting on the grass in a couple of hours I dressed super casual pairing my favorite Loft t-shirt and denim shorts with a little snazzier accessories to keep it date night worthy. P.S. I became totally addicted to this necklace, wearing it everyday this weekend – whoops!

And if you happen to eat at Zada Jane’s I have a few must items you need to try!! First for breakfast you absolutely cannot go wrong with the Bunny Ranchers or Booker T’s East Side Hasher. Oh and you HAVE to get a biscuit!! For dinner I’ve only tried one thing but it was incredible, literally one of my favorite things right now – zucchini and yellow squash cakes with tzatiki, yummm! Josh had a pimento cheese burger, he said it was delicious and I believe him because it was gone in 3.5 seconds. Another visit to Zada Jane’s is probably in our near future.
