July Instagram

July was another fun filled month for the blog! We did our first giveaway with Kipton Lane. Again congrats to Shannon W. for winning the necklace shown above! I focused a lot on changing the look of Louella Reese and cleaning up the layout a bit. Hopefully y’all like the new look, I would definitely love to hear your feedback if you do not or if you do! As with every month I think I realized even more how much I love blogging and what a passion it is for me.

4th of July was spent at Lake Norman celebrating with my boyfriend, his family, and a few friends. It was the best weekend (minus losing my sunglasses!) filled with lots of food, paddle boarding, water skiing, and soaking up some rays. I wish every weekend could be that relaxing!

The next weekend I headed to Raleigh to visit my dad for his birthday where I cooked him a snazzy little breakfast – scrambled eggs, sausage, fresh fruit, orange juice, coffee for him, and tea for me. We ate lunch at Zinburger  at Southpointe to celebrate with my sister, oh my gosh y’all I had the best milkshake everrrr! The concoction is called Bars of Zin and consists of chocolate ice cream, hazelnut spread, and Kit-Kat pieces, I was in heaven. I also made a little time to stop by Cameron Village where they were having a massive side walk sale. Where I received some serious inspiration from the Palm Avenue store and pretty much totally obsessed over every inch of their decor. Also picked up an incredible Milly dress on super sale that I cannot wait to wear!

Spent a few days by the pool reading and trying to grow a little tan. That was a fail but had some great quality time with one of my best girl friends and acted like total six year olds with Josh one Sunday at my neighborhood pool, it was hilarious!

I picked up a few beauty goodies and fun Kate Spade necklace from Nordstrom during their Anniversary Sale – you have 3 days left to shop!

Not too much coming up in August definitely some pool days and two country concerts the last two weekends, I’m basically counting down the days till I get to see Blake Shelton wooohooo!

Do anything or go anywhere exciting in July? What do you have coming up in August? Have any summer concerts on your schedule?
