I fell in love with this dress the second I laid eyes on it! It’s the perfect combination of feminine, flirty, and whimsical. I originally purchased this CeCe by Cynthia Steffe number to wear for our engagement photos but unfortunately the fiancé didn’t have a shirt that matched it too well. Yes I am that gal that wanted us to coordinate, I mean you have to, don’t you?! I couldn’t quite part with it though so here it is for a sweet semi-casual date look.

I would have taken the jacket off to give you a better look but like I mentioned in yesterday’s post – it was FREEZING while we were in Asheville. As in never above 28 and truthfully for the most part was well below that. So another post may be coming your way soon, to show off the full dress.

Who else is SO excited about spring arriving? I absolutely am! One of the main reasons is I cannot wait to start wearing fun new dresses and pull out some of my old favorites. Over the knee boots are a great way to transition your dresses back into your wardrobe. Whether your trying to hide those pale legs {that’s me} or keep warm on chillier nights, they’re the perfect piece. If you haven’t picked a pair up yet this winter, I definitely recommend getting a pair now. Most are on sale and I have a HUGE hunch that they’ll be back again next fall/winter.
