It’s been just about forever since I did an instagram round up. Therefore it was time to update y’all on life lately and where some items featured on instagram are from.
Life has been absolutely bananas lately!! Joshua and myself have had event after event with barely anytime to sit back. Don’t get me wrong though, I enjoyed every event and getting many chances to dance the night away with my stud! This past weekend though I was beyond excited to have some time at home and get to go on a snazzy date night. We tried out The Cellar at Duckworth’s Saturday night for dinner {amazing} and the adorable Poplar Street Cafe & Wine Bar for dessert. I HIGHLY recommend both of these if you are in the Charlotte area or visiting soon.
Now as you may have read here the gals and I had an insanely tasty meal at Tupelo Honey in Asheville during our getaway last month. It was incredible and legit a must hit place if you live anywhere near one.

I wore this look while exploring downtown Asheville with the gals. I really cannot get enough of my VB backpack and am constantly wearing it now. It truly is the perfect bag for vacation and running errands on the weekend.

Corbin, Emily, and myself wore our backpacks for the afternoon of exploring. I’m pretty sure everyone thought we were little girls trying to be all cute, matchy matchy haha. Oh well!

Another bag I’m seriously obsessed with right now is my Sloane Ranger weekender bag. I was amazed the first time I took it for a vacay at how much I could pack in. The bag can fit so much more than you’d expect. Loved this laid-back look for our last day in Asheville and travel back home.

My #GIRLSQUAD and I being our crazy selfs. We had way too much doing this photo shoot and poor Joshua had to put up with all of our shenanigans. Aka he’s the best #instagramfiance.

I don’t know about you but I really couldn’t be more in love with all of the spring/summer blooms going on right now. Everything is so gorgeous and now that the allergies have calmed down I can really enjoy it all! Also cannot get over how many completely blue sky days we’ve had. Saturday there was not a single cloud in the sky and it was 70 degrees aka perfection!
Here’s a sneak peek at Joshua and I’s second round of engagement photos. We had the BEST time shooting with one of our good friends, Nathan Scott Hartmann. He is so incredibly talented and beyond fun to shoot with. If this guy lived in Charlotte we’d be having photo shoots weekly! If you’re in the DC area you should definitely check him out {he travels too}.

How fun is this pillow? Joshua picked it up for me a couple years ago for my birthday. I’m obsessed and seriously giggle every time I look at it.
The pillow is currently sold out but you can add your name to the email list to be notified when it’s back in stock // blanket: c/o vera bradley
These are my crazy pants and I love them! May look familiar as I just posted this look on the blog last week {see here}. Also fun fact, you can see my featured on All for Color‘s site in their blogger shop. See all of my top picks!

Mother’s Day weekend was one of the best we’ve had! Both of my siblings and their families came to Charlotte to visit my mom {and me}. We enjoyed lots of yummy eats and serious quality time together. Sunday my mom and I went to the Women’s Battered and Rehabilitation center to serve food and do a craft. It was the best way to spend the afternoon and so much fun to do with my mom.

Yesterday Joshua and I ran a ton of wedding errands. Including buying his suit for the big day {ahhh!!}. After all of those errands we definitely needed to fuel up and Chopt was where we stopped. It was the first time we had both been there and I am hooked! So fresh and delicious.

Last month Joshua and I had three weddings and one rehearsal dinner all within 8 days. See what I mean, life has been seriously bananas. This photo is from the first wedding we attended. We totally did not plan on the whole red, white, and blue combo but Joshua was definitely not upset about it haha!
