While I said I shared my last summer look last week, I’d say this look is still hanging onto summer a bit. I do however believe these wide leg chinos are a great transition from summer to fall. With the light blue hue they could just as easily be paired with a gingham oxford shirt, camel coat, and fabulous flats. Tell me you can’t picture that adorable look? I literally just thought of that and now immediately want to give it a try haha. Don’t be surprised if you see that look pop up in the next couple of weeks.

Back to this look though, I had my eye on this top since the moment it hit J.Crew’s sales floor. The price was a little steeper than I wanted to pay {gal on a budget}. So when I found it on the sale rack at $49.99 plus an additional 40% off I jumped with joy and ran to the register. There was NO way this adorable wasn’t coming home with me. Seriously though, isn’t it the cutest? You will be seeing this very often on my snapchat and instastories. Sorry in advance!

So you may notice a trend going on here on Louella Reese. I am all trying out items I normally wouldn’t reach for. These pants are another example of that. NEVER would I imagine myself wearing cropped wide legged chinos. Like ever! The color was honestly what drew me to pulling them off the shelf and adding to my dressing room. I was pleasantly surprised by how they looked. Especially when paired with my new go to top! What is your take on this style pants?

Anyone else extremely excited for fall but also slightly bummed that summer is saying goodbye?! Like everyone else, I cannot believe how fast summer went. I seriously feel like May was three weeks ago. With work, blog, and wedding planning + having a bit of a social life {tehehe} time absolutely flew!! Next summer I am making a HUGE effort to fill my schedule with less commitments and more down time. Anyone else in the same boat?
