Can y’all believe Christmas is less than two weeks away? As always, December is flying by. There are Christmas parties to attend, presents to buy, cookies to bake, plans to make, and so much more to do! One of my favorite moments to stop and savor though, is decorating the Christmas tree. Especially this year, as Joshua and I celebrate our first Christmas as Mr. and Mrs. {yay}! As if the holiday season couldn’t get more exciting! This year we were able to combine our childhood ornaments on our first tree together as well as some new ones we received. Some people prefer using artifcial trees to real. If you prefer artificial and live in Dallas, then you my want to view some artificial trees Dallas.
Hot chocolate was a must while placing our favorite ornaments on the tree. Christmas music too! As we placed our ornaments on the tree we told stories behind each memorable one.
I picked up this set of ornaments at Target while picking up some other Christmas goodies. Including this super cozy Christmas tree skirt that Reese Poppy is beyond obsessed with!
How cute is our little baby? She always has to be right in the middle of everything. Decorating the tree was no different!
Little miss trouble maker! Trying to open up all of the presents prior to the big day. No luck Miss Reese Poppy, no opening until Christmas Day!

Merry Christmas from our little family to yours! To celebrate, on the the ninth day of Christmas my blogger babes gave to me….a gift certificate to Swoozie’s. A great spot to pick up Christmas decor, gifts, party hosting items, and so much more.
I personally cannot get enough of all their monogram items. Monogram items are a wonderful way to really personalize a gift. Especially for newlyweds! Trust me, I know newlyweds {tehe} and they love receiving items with their new monogram. Maybe these glasses or this front door hanger. They’re also wonderful for hostess gifts. Some great options would be this bamboo board or these slate cheese boards.
For your chance to win a Swoozie’s gift card to pick up some of these items {plus some for yourself} enter below! Find out if you’re a previous winner here, here, here, here, here, and here. If you are please email me at [email protected] asap.
My all time favorite Christmas tradition is driving around to see Christmas lights on Christmas Eve with my entire family packed into one car! So much fun!
That is too cute! Sounds like an awesome tradition. I want to find a good spot in Charlotte to do that.

My very favorite Christmas tradition is going to the Christmas Eve candlelight service, and on the way home drive by the best Christmas lights just to get home, eat breakfast for dinner (waffles!) and get in the bed early.
That is the cutest tradition! I love the eating breakfast for dinner. I just might have to steal that one.
