Can y’all believe 2017 is officially here? I cannot. 2016 flew by! It was a year of challenges, celebrations, changes, growth, and so much more. While it was one of the BEST years yet, I cannot wait to dive right into 2017 and see what the year has to offer. I’m sure many of you feel the exact same!
Before we totally dive into 2017, I wanted to take a quick moment to look back at some of my favorite and y’all’s favorite looks from 2016. And again, say thank you, to all of you! You have made this little space of the internet SO much fun! I have really enjoyed connecting with y’all more last year and growing relationships. I look forward to doing that even more so in 2017. Also would love to hear more of what y’all would like to see on Louella Reese. Please comment below or email me at [email protected]. Whether it’s recipes, party ideas, fashion, blog tips, or whatever else. I am totally open and ready to hear some ideas!
Now let’s take a look back at that fashion!
January was all about trying out over the knee boots and my first cape! Original post here.
February I headed to Charleston for a little gals getaway with my mom. This little blue number was a definite pick for a gals night out. Original post here.
In March, I shared another look form our time in Charleston. This time, it’s all about brunch attire {or another date night option}. Original post here.
In April, I finally found the perfect cargo pants. Original post here.
May it was all about shades of blue with the sweetest white midi skirt. Original post here.
Come June I finally got to sharing our engagement photos. Which also included one of my favorite looks from the summer season. Original post here.
July was pretty exciting when I was able to share all of my looks from shooting in Nashville. This look was by far my favorite one! Original post here.
In August, I tried out some new trends. Ones that were well outside of my fashion comfort zone. With this look, I think the risk paid off. One of my favorites to date. Original post here.
In September, I found my boyfriend jeans again. Haven’t turned back since. Original post here.
In October, I tried out the half up topknot and became hooked. Also found the sweetest swing dress on super sale. A total win right? Original post here.
November offered cooler temps. Which meant I could start pulling out some sweaters. This lace back one was by far one of my favorite purchases for the season. my favorite fall item. Original post here.
December was full of Christmas party and New Years Eve dresses. This one was my absolute favorite {Joshua’s too}. Original post here.
I hope y’all enjoyed a little trip down 2016 memory lane from Louella Reese. Taking a look back is so fun, to see how your fashion tastes change and some trends you might want to try out again. It’s a great way to grab some inspiration and also remind yourself what items didn’t work out. There’s always a couple, right?
I can’t wait to share new looks with you soon! Please bare with me a bit as we had an unexpected trip out of town for five days during Christmas break and once we arrived back home a wicked cold showed up. Any get over cold quick tips you have would be greatly appreciated!
Happy New Year y’all. Thank you again for all of your support, comments, shares, and emails. I appreciate each and every one of you!

Just stumbled across your blog. This outfit is so cute. If the palazzo pants were taking a risk please take more lol. You pulled that look off flawlessly. So sad they are out of stock lol.
