How to Stylishly Cover Your Thanksgiving Food Baby

Let’s be honest, the Thanksgiving food baby is a real thing. It’s also a last pretty much an all day thing. Therefore, I’m coming at you with a solution, a sweater poncho.

There’s nothing wrong with having a Thanksgiving food baby. I mean the day is centered around eating a HUGE meal. And for some of us, there are multiple huge meals. One at grandma’s, one at your in-laws, and one at your house (or a another mix of family members and friends). Lucky for us, we typically have just one thanksgiving meal on the actual holiday. With friendsgiving prior to or after. What does your Thanksgiving day schedule look like?

No matter what, you’re probably going to have a Thanksgiving food baby of some sort. Am I right? And while pajamas or loungewear are the way to go, they aren’t always an option. Like when you’re trying to impress your future in-laws or your family insist on a dressed up, put together look for the occasion.

So as mentioned above, I’m here with a solution. A way to look cute, keep your Thanksgiving food baby covered, and by comfortable! Who knew you could have it all?

A Sweater Poncho

This clothing item is the answer to all your over eating, full belly prayers. Comfy, cute, and very spacious. Allowing you to go back for seconds of your grandma’s famous pie. I actually received the ivory sweater poncho I’m wearing in today’s post right before Thanksgiving last year (see it worn for Friendsgiving) and am thrilled they brought it back again this year. It’s an amazing piece and truly one you can wear year after year. Maybe I’ll just become your Thanksgiving uniform (as it seems it has become mine haha).

A cape or poncho is SO smart for Thanksgiving. I usually try to wear leggings so they can handle an expanding waistline!
