How to Create a Valentine’s Day Charcuterie Board

Pick a color scheme

Having a color scheme will help blend everything together and create a more visually pleasing dessert charcuterie board. Opt for two to four colors with some neutrals mixed in.

For Valentine’s Day a couple of easy color schemes include:

  • Red, pink, white, and black
  • Pink, rose gold, white, gold, and brown
  • Shades of red, white, and brown or black
  • Shades of pink, ivory, and caramel
  • Shades of pink, tan, chocolate brown, and a deep green
Have a large variety

Let’s be honest, Valentine’s Day (and/or Galentine’s Day) is a time to indulge in all things sweet. Chocolates, candies, cookies, and more! So remember that when putting together your dessert charcuterie board. You want to have a little of everything for everyone. Dark chocolate, milk chocolate, cookies, crackers, candies, and maybe even add a few sauces for dipping.

Having a variety also gives your board more depth and again makes it more visually appealing! Do remember to stay within your decided color scheme/palette.

Add a coordinating beverage

It is a holiday and reason to celebrate after all! The perfect addition to your dessert charcuterie board is a fabulous bottle of Risata Wines Sparkling Rosé. Not only is the bottle the perfect compliment to your board it also doubles as decor! The pink bottle + rosé will look beautiful on your counter or tabletop. Oh, and while complimenting your board visually it will do so flavor wise as well. Risata Wines Sparkling Rosé is a crisp sparkling wine with aromas of strawberry, raspberry and delicate floral notes.

Oh my gosh, this is both genius and so adorable! We decided to stay in for Valentine’s Day this year (we’re dog sitting and want to get in all of the puppy snuggles!) and I have been trying to figure out something special to do at home. Love the idea of a dessert charcuterie board to snack on while binge-watching Netflix!
