While this pomegranate whiskey mule recipe was inspired by the upcoming Valentine’s Day holiday, it really is the ideal cocktail to enjoy throughout the winter season. It could be considered rather festive for the Christmas holiday as well with it’s red color and rosemary sprig garnish.

Between the pomegranate, whiskey, and ginger beer this cocktail is packed with flavor! A little unexpected, however, the flavors perfectly compliment one another. We made a round for family members a few weekends ago and the flavor combination was a big hit!

INGREDIENTS

2 ounces whiskey

4 ounces pomegranate juice

6 ounces ginger beer

rosemary sprigs

pomegranate arils

STEPS

  1. Fill copper mug with ice
  2. Add whiskey and pomegranate juice, stir to combine
  3. Fill glass with ginger beer
  4. Top with rosemary sprig and pomegranate arils
  5. Sip and enjoy!
