Modern Cottage Bathroom Inspiration

Does fixer upper inspire you to put together room inspiration boards? No, just me?! {I know you’re lying, you’ve been there too haha}. Well after watching a recent episode I was inspired to put together my dream modern cottage bathroom inspiration board. While a bathroom may sound random, I personally think bathrooms are one of the most exciting rooms to redo and decorate. Just small changes can make such an impact. And when you’re able to make big changes, watch out! You won’t even feel as though it’s the same room. Are you with me? I mean, that’s how I feel EVERY time Joanna Gaines we does a master bathroom or even a sweet hallway half bath. The woman blows my mind EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Now I know you’re with me on that!

Just a little side note, after I picked my pieces for the room and put the board together, I wanted another episode of Fixer Upper and Joanna picked the SAME tile as me for a space. Yep, life made! I was feeling pretty good about myself haha.

Anyways, onto the bathroom created…it should come as no shocker that I opted for a lot of white and blues. This is my favorite color combination {as you know if you’ve followed Louella Reese for even a day haha} and I honestly love it even more in the home. I decided to choose the largest piece first and then build the rest of the space around that. That piece being the vanity, I immediately fell in love with this one. One it has two sinks {praise}, two it’s white, three the top is marble, literally what more could you want?!

From there, I choose the tile which again was love at first sight and a HAD to have. Aka this tile will be in our future home, I can promise you that! I mean is it not the prettiest! If you click through the images shared in the listing you can see it as flooring in a bathroom. It is amazing!

After that, everything else was chosen to match those two selections. I went pretty basic with everything else as I like really clean, simple spaces. Although I did have a little fun with the artwork {I mean how fabulous is this lady?} and the addition of some baskets. Baskets for laundry and to house extra toilet paper are my favorite. They just give off such a homey feel and look WAY prettier than a toilet paper rack.

Would your dream bathroom include any of these items? Comment below and share a little insight into what your dream bathroom may look like! I would LOVE to hear about it! Give me more inspo 🙂 Also, if you’re looking for more home decor inspiration, you can view my home posts here

This post is right up my alley! I love creating dream boards and designing my dream rooms! I totally agree with you, bathrooms are a must just like any other room. I love how airy, yet cozy this bathroom is… and my day would be made as well if I choose the same tile.

My dream bathroom would be a lot of whites with texture. I may just have to go make a dream board right now.

  6. I am a fan of whites and blues too! I love white pieces especially for bathrooms, in spaces that tend to be smaller. White makes it feel bigger!
