After receiving lots of questions about the snacks I eat during low carb days, I’m sharing my FWTFL approved snacks. Including a Whole Foods dupe I created for regular macro days.
Since today is low carb day, I thought it was an appropriate time to share today’s post. I’m highlighting two of my go to snacks for low carb days. These two snacks help me reach my healthy fat goals on low carb days! Truly, without them, I do not think I would be able to reach the goals. Plus, they both help satisfy my sweet tooth, in a healthier – low carb way!
Additionally, I am sharing my absolute favorite snack for regular macro days. I actually just made these for the first time last week after spotting dates at Aldi. I completely forgot about the Whole Foods Coconut Date Balls I use to be obsessed with until spotting those dates! Instantly I decided to whip them up myself! And with the amazing deal at Aldi + purchasing the coconut myself, the recipe was a FRACTION of the cost of Whole Foods Coconut Date Balls. It also made more and I have lots of left over coconut for next time.
Below you will find recipes for these FWTFL approved snacks as well as the nutrition facts to go along. I created my own recipes within the My Fitness Pal app to track these items. You can do the same or possibly find mine by searching the names below and including the word homemade.
