I received today’s blue and white number last year and immediately packed it for a beach trip. The dress is designed to be worn as a cover up but I think it is far too cute to be limited to just that. Therefore, I reached for a slip from another dress so I could wear it out and about.

Now rather than only pairing it over a swimsuit, I’m wearing it several ways! For today’s look, I pulled on my trusty summer loafers and grabbed the cutest mini straw tote. An easy look for a summer afternoon or evening. For a more casual look, I have paired the dress with white sneakers, a straw hat, and cross body bag. Making it perfect for an afternoon full of exploring, brewery hopping, or hitting the farmer’s market.

I truly find myself reaching for this dress almost weekly. Due to how lightweight and comfortable it is. Styling it is so easy and I stay cool + comfortable while wearing it! Which leads me to the topic of today’s post – lightweight summer dresses. Come warmer temps these are so necessary, especially in the South – HELLO humidity! So I found some of the cutest lightweight summer dresses available to shop right now. Find them below!
