A January recap, a little early!
Clothing Purchased:
similar Plaid Pants {see here}
New York Sweatshirt
Rainbow Sweater
Ivory Open Cardigan
Pink & Blue Silk Neck Scarf
Gray Soft {the softest} pants
Ray-Ban Classic Clubmasters
Home Items Purchased:
Nada – which is blowing my mind! I’m sure February will not provide the same response.
Where I Went:
Raleigh – Another trip to Raleigh this month to visit family. Joshua and I hadn’t celebrated Christmas with my family that lives in Raleigh yet, so we went to exchange gifts and spend some time together. Always love getting to see family. Especially my niece and nephew. Kids are just the best!
The Ivey’s Hotel – Joshua and I did a little staycation again this month. This time, we stayed at The Ivey’s Hotel in uptown Charlotte. Y’all this boutique absolutely blew me away. There is no detail that was forgotten! Seriously, every little inch is decorated, every extra you could want in your room is there, and they pamper you so much! I highly, highly recommend planning a night or two there. See snaps from our trip here and here.
Movies Watched:
American Made – This was on the must watch list for Joshua. Overall, we thought it was pretty good. Lots of action, excitement, and craziness! Tom Cruise did a pretty stellar job. Which is honestly a lot coming from me as I am definitely not his biggest fan ha.
Recipes Tried:
Ground Turkey Sweet Potato Skillet – used vegan cheese as we’ve recently learned I’m lactose intolerant and it was AMAZING!
Dutch Oven Roasted Brussels Sprouts – my in-laws gave me a dutch oven for Christmas and I’m having a blast trying new recipes with it.

Reading:
I am still reading 5 Minutes with Jesus: Peace for Today and still absolutely loving it! Again, highly recommend for a morning devotional.
TV Shows Watched/Watching:
We’re kind of watching a lot right now #whoops! This is Us, Lethal Weapon, and Nashville are all shows we watch together. I wasn’t too into Lethal Weapon until recently and now Joshua has me hooked. It’s a police show that followers partners that have quite the dynamic. Aka they’re hilarious. I’m also watching Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal. Legit dying over Grey’s right now and what is happening to Jo. Very intense! Scandal is still not doing it for me this season {sorry}. Hoping that will change before it’s over!
Take a look back at my recaps from December, November, October, September, August, July, June, May, and April.
Okay, trying both those recipes!! YUM!!
And loving all the items you purchased this month!
