This week was much calmer than the previous but still seemed to fly by! Most of the week was spent working from home with a short trip to Wake Forest, NC Thursday to help my sister with a few decisions for their new home. I shared a couple peeks at their beautiful Southern Living style home via Instagram stories, if you want to take a look.
Last week, I relaunched the Louella Reese brand with a whole new look, logo, brand colors, and also shared more about what the brand will look like going forward. This week I dove a little further into the new brand, sharing lots of content here on the blog, in-feed on Instagram and stories. In all honesty I am still floating on cloud now over the relaunch and have felt so re-inspired this week – very excited about all of the content I am sharing! Which to be honest is a feeling I haven’t felt in quite awhile. The comparison game and posting what I thought I “should” definitely got the best of me in 2020 – so this new look, the new content – is quite refreshing as it is so very me! Thank you again for all of the love and support around the relaunch!
Along with the relaunch last week I kicked off a new series called Friday Five, which seemed to be a big hit with y’all! The Friday Five series lives both here on the blog as well as on Instagram. Here you will find five items I’m loving and on Instagram you will find five thoughts. Both are meant to be kind of like a morning (or afternoon) coffee chat with a friend – would love to hear about your week or things you’re loving in the comments!
FRIDAY FIVE
5 THINGS I’M LOVING THIS WEEK
Dainty Yellow Flower Blouse
The sweet feminine details on this pretty top and airy fit make it the perfect everyday blouse for spring. Pair with your favorite jeans, straight leg pants, cut-off shorts, or white jeans.
Raffia Basket Bag
I may have just shared several woven bags for the season but this one caught my eye later this week, I had to share! A classic straw tote is perfect to wear with your favorite spring and summer looks.
Woven Napkin Rings
I love the texture that a natural fiber adds for layering when setting a table, like these woven napkin rings. The perfect addition to your spring table.
Neutral Casual Woven Sandals
A casual woven sandal adds the perfect neutral to any everyday spring outfit. Under $50 and also available in black and navy blue.

If only I didn’t have a torso the length of a giraffe’s neck so I could wear that yellow sundress. It’s adorable, but it would practically be a crop top on me haha!!! The sandals and bag are great too. I definitely enjoy these Friday Five wrap-ups!
aww boo! will have to find a similar style for you! so happy to hear you’re enjoying this new series 🙂
